Are you a results-driven Branch Manager that ensures sales goals are met and office tasks are completed successfully? Do you have strong leadership abilities and excellent organizational skills? Than this might be the job you are looking for.

Wat ga je doen?

In this Branch Manager Maritime Benelux function you will be working at a organization with a large fleet across the globe . You will be supervising a small team spread over two European offices, with one of them located in the Netherlands, and evaluate their performances. You will be sharing knowledge with other branches and headquarters to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company. Also you will be responsible for Sales & Marketing activities, and manage the budgets and develop forecasts and report to the European headquarters. You will be networking with third parties, e.g. port authorities, suppliers etc.,  in the European region to establish and develop commercial contacts. And in general you will be supervising the vessels operations in the European ports including all relevant administration and/or documentation, with an average of 100 calls on a yearly basis.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

  • You have a qualification in shipping company with at least 5 years of experience in a similar function of Branch Manager;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to strategize and plan ahead;
  • Of course perfect sales and communication skills;
  • Excellent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of the French or German language is very welcome;
  • Proficiency with MS Office and shipping related programs;
  • You’re in the possession of driving licence B, and willing to travel between the different branches in Europe;
  • Furthermore you are flexible with an open personality and a good problem solving attitude!
